Guided Garden Tour
Take a tour of our vibrant, intimate 28-acre site. Focusing on seasonal highlights, a Wave Hill Garden Guide will give an overview of our carefully cultivated gardens and extensive collection of rare and unusual plants, along with a general history of the property. From the first awe-inspiring view at the Great Lawn and Pergola Overlook, the ever-changing array of flowers, shrubs and trees will create an indelible impression for your group in any season.

Guided Gallery Tour
Join a Gallery Greeter on an insightful tour of cutting-edge contemporary artwork in Glyndor Gallery and the Sunroom Project Space. Showcasing the work of both emerging and established artists in a unique environment, exhibitions explore the dynamic relationship between nature, culture and site. This tour always provides a compelling experience.

Combination Tour
Combine the garden and gallery tours, even add a sumptuous lunch to the day’s schedule and treat your group to a relaxed, inspiring experience.

Self-Guided Group Visit
(15+ people)
Wave Hill welcomes groups interested in a self-guided visit. Enjoy the gardens, grounds and buildings at your own pace. Maps and guides are available to help you discover the endless beauty that is Wave Hill. Organized groups of 15 or more must reserve in advance.

Guidelines
- Tours take place rain or shine
- Complimentary admission for tour leader and bus driver
- Guided tours receive 10% off purchases in The Shop at Wave Hill with advance reservation
- Large groups are always welcome! We will provide the appropriate number of guides to allow for the optimal experience.
Reservations
- To make a reservation today, fill out a Private Tour Request Form or contact us at tours@wavehill.org or at 718.549.3200 x253.
- All Guided Tours must reserve a minimum of a month in advance and must have received their confirmation prior to arrival
- Reservations are based on availability. Peak visitation time-slots sell out quickly!
- A non-refundable deposit of $50, along with the Private Tour Request Form, is required to secure all Guided Tour reservations.
Accessibility
Some paths on our grounds are inaccessible to wheelchairs, as well as to those who may have difficulty walking in narrow or rocky conditions. We will gladly modify any tour to accommodate your group’s needs; please let us know beforehand of any requests. Wave Hill House, Glyndor Gallery and the Perkins Visitor Center are ADA-accessible.
Dining at Wave Hill
Complete your Wave Hill experience with a delicious, seasonal, box lunch served on the delightful and tented Kate French terrace. For groups choosing to bring their own lunches, Wave Hill has a separate picnic area with umbrella tables.
