Joyous, multi-talented community chorus North River Sing performs two, 40-minute sets on the Great Lawn as part of Wave Hill’s Winter Haven Opening Weekend. Performances at 1:00PM and 2:30PM.
The Jersey City-based chorus’s mission is to celebrate our nation’s unique contribution to world music: the Great American Songbook, and all the genres associated with it, from jazz and swing to Broadway, folk, classic pop and R&B. Founded in 2014, North River Sing is proud to be celebrating its 10th anniversary season. The chorus is made up of friends and neighbors in and around Jersey City that share a love of singing and provide enriching entertainment for audiences on both sides of the Hudson. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Conrad Chu, the chorus performs a selection of songs from their upcoming winter concert series. For more information: NorthRiverSing.org.
Registration is not required for this drop-in event. In case of inclement weather, performance moves to Kate French Terrace behind Wave Hill House.
