Shane Pritchett
Shane has been with Wave Hill for nine years and currently oversees the Tropical House, Wave Hill House Terrace, and the Pergola. He was drawn to gardening when he began caring for his home garden in Queens and later earned certificates in Botany and Horticulture from the New York Botanical Garden. He is most looking forward to working within the greenhouses during the winter months when he can focus upon the tropical collections. His favorite gardening tasks include propagating from cuttings and sowing seeds.
