Walking Meditation: Art Among the Trees

Join wellness retreat host Sara Hart for a summer afternoon combining art, nature and wellness. Immerse yourself in the gardens and the outdoor sculptural installation Folding Field through a series of guided and seated walking meditations. Along the way, pause among our towering trees as you reflect on the resilience and symbiotic relationship between trees and humans. This experience is open to all who wish to learn simple meditation activities and to experience art in a more personal and immersive way. Severe weather cancels.

Walks follow a route along mixed-material pathways with varying elevations. This program could be considered a moderate hike; gentler routes with a slower pace can be made available. There will be short stops along the way where participants will also be invited to gather, share, engage and/or observe.
