Where
Meet at Perkins Visitor Center

The history of the trees in our landscapes tells a story of ornamental value, human interest, and landscape design. Many of the species in our gardens and green spaces were planted with intention. Tree expert and New York naturalist Levi O'Brien leads this walk that examines the histories of specific Wave Hill trees, discussing the major roles people have played, and continue to play, in celebrating these trees in our lives and our landscapes.
Severe weather cancels.
Advance registration encouraged, online or by calling 718.549.3200 x251. Day-of registration based on availability and not guaranteed.
Walks follow a variety of routes along mixed-material pathways and varying elevations.
