Meet at Wave Hill House Lawn

Join us for an inspiring storytime in the garden! Our whimsical stories come to life through interactive book readings by librarians from New York Public Library’s Riverdale Branch. For rain or other extreme weather, meet in Gund Theater in Wave Hill House. Ideal for children ages two to six with an adult.
Drop-in with limited capacity, first come first serve. For questions, please email us at information@wavehill.org or call 718.549.3200 x251.
The Riverdale Branch of The New York Public Library was built in 1967 at the request of community residents to replace their small local library. It has book collections for adults, young adults, and children, as well as videos, DVDs, CDs, recorded books for borrowing, and a small collection of material in languages other than English, with an emphasis on Russian books.
The Wave Hill House Lawn is a grassy area with sloping hills. A flat area is accessible following mixed-material pathways with varying elevations.
