Meet the Artists: The Nature of Family Portraits

Artists in The Nature of Family Portraits expand on traditions of the family portrait by depicting nature, flora and landscapes. The results both complement and complicate our understanding of how family relationships and lineages can be represented. Join exhibiting artists Destiny Belgrave and Maia Cruz Palileo and exhibition curator Jesse Bandler Firestone for a conversation about the themes in their work. Ages 10 and older welcome with an adult.
Capacity is limited and registration encouraged, online or by calling 718.549.3200 x213.
