Meet the Artist: Amina Ross
When
Where
Meet in Glyndor Gallery's Sunroom Project Space
Join New York Community Trust Van Lier Fellow Amina Ross and a Wave Hill curator, for a conversation about Ross’s installation in the Sunroom. They discuss the way that Ross creates a realm for marginalized communities to exercise agency and exist and thrive in safety, drawing emotional and spiritual connections between humans and nature.
“Meet the Artist” is an ongoing series of conversations between exhibiting artists and the curatorial team at Wave Hill. This program provides an opportunity for Wave Hill visitors, the artist’s community and others to learn more about an artist’s creative process and themes within their work.
Registration encouraged, online or by calling 718.549.3200 x251.
