Meet at Perkins Visitor Center
Don't leaf yourself out of this amazing class! Explore the Wave Hill grounds with museum educator Corinne Flax, finding leaves of all shapes, sizes and colors. Learn about the complex process of photosynthesis and how trees use, and lose, their leaves in the fall. After the walk, spread your leaves and grow in a leaf inspired family yoga class. Recommended for ages four to eight. Fall Foliage Fest event.

Corinne Flax
Corinne Flax
Environmental educator Corinne Flax has an M.Ed. in Museum Education from the Bank Street College of Education and has been a Museum Educator at a variety of tri-State area museums and gardens for the last 15 years. Currently, she manages school and community partnerships at the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, CT, where she creates curriculum, professional development workshops and after-school events. Corinne recently completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training and a 20-hour kids and teen yoga certification. Catch her at Harlem Yoga Studio, where she introduces yoga basics in a fun and flowy way.
