Hudson Highlands Pipe Band
On Sunday afternoon, Wave Hill welcomes the Hudson Highlands Pipe Band to our Winter Haven opening weekend with a rousing performance featuring traditional Highland bagpipes. With the Hudson River as a picturesque backdrop, enjoy the stirring and ethereal sounds of the pipes in two sessions at noon and 4PM. The latter session brings our weekend to a close as the sun sets over the gardens. Inclement weather moves the performance to the Kate French Terrace at Wave Hill House.

Hudson Highlands Pipe Band
The Hudson Highlands Pipe Band played their first notes in 2005 in Cold Spring, NY. Since that inaugural parade, the band has marched in countless parades, played with the Chieftains at Carnegie Hall, and competed in regional piping competitions
Led by Pipe Major James Hartford, HHPB plays traditional Scottish and Irish tunes. They look forward to hosting their 15th Robert Burns Supper in January. Sláinte!
