Day of the Dead
![Wave hill Family Art Project Day of the Dead credit Dave Sanders](/uploads/programs/_sm/wave-hill_Family-Art-Project-Day-of-the-Dead_credit-Dave-Sanders.jpg)
Celebrate this special Mexican cultural holiday as we explore and create nicho boxes, small shadow boxes filled with meaning and purpose that honor a lost loved one.
At 11:30AM, families can learn more about the holiday with a storytime program in the Gund Theater, all ages welcome. We will be celebrating Day of the Dead with a reading of the book It’s Skeleton Time! By Ana Galan.
Registration not required.
Wave Hill House is wheelchair-accessible. There is an accessible, ground-level entrance at the front of the building with a power-assist door. The restroom on the ground level is all-gender and ADA-compliant. Additional ADA-compliant restrooms are available on the lower level, which can be accessed by elevator.
