Day of the Dead
![Wave hill Family Art Project Day of the Dead credit Dave Sanders](/uploads/programs/_sm/wave-hill_Family-Art-Project-Day-of-the-Dead_credit-Dave-Sanders.jpg)
Celebrate this special Mexican cultural holiday as we explore and create nicho boxes, small shadow boxes filled with meaning and purpose that honor a lost loved one.
At 11:30AM and 12:30PM, families can learn more about the holiday with a storytime program from our partners Literacy in Community on Wave Hill House Lawn, all ages welcome. For rain or other extreme weather, meet in Gund Theater in Wave Hill House.
Registration not required.
Wave Hill House is wheelchair-accessible. There is an accessible, ground-level entrance at the front of the building with a power-assist door. The restroom on the ground level is all-gender and ADA-compliant. Additional ADA-compliant restrooms are available on the lower level, which can be accessed by elevator.
