Amidst the wintery backdrop outside Armor Hall, Downes will feature a sneak peak of her upcoming Pentatone label release Love At Last, a reflection on the power of imagination and the possibility of new beginnings.

Lara Downes is a musical trailblazer and activist dedicated to expanding the resonance and relevance of American music. In addition to appearances as a soloist with top symphony orchestras nationwide, not to mention her Billboard chart-topping albums, she is the creator and host of AMPLIFY with Lara Downes, a video series for NPR Music, and founder of Rising Sun Music, a recording series that shines light on the music and stories of Black composers over the past 200 years.
The concert begins at 2PM and lasts approximately one hour without intermission. Ages 8 and older welcome with an adult.

Wave Hill House and Armor Hall are wheelchair-accessible. There is an accessible, ground-level entrance at the front of the building with a power-assist door. The restroom on the ground level is all-gender and ADA-compliant. Additional ADA-compliant restrooms are available on the lower level, which can be accessed by elevator.
