Wave Hill’s School Partnership Program recognizes the daily demands of in-class teaching time. Thus our comprehensive instructional plan supplements a portion of school mandated standards. Rather than detract from the time needed to fulfill curriculum requirements, these programs enhance your curriculum in rich and exciting ways. Embark on a journey of authentic discovery and real-world experiential learning in the classroom, at Wave Hill, and within your school’s community. Collaborate with Wave Hill educators and other grade-level teachers from your school.
Wave Hill School Partnership Programs:
- Support teachers to maximize multiple entry points for learning through integration of science and contemporary art.
- Engage students in hands-on exploration of science and art through outdoor education, making learning relevant in real-world contexts.
- Involve families through active participation in students’ learning at a celebratory family retreat at Wave Hill.
